Starting with phone calls, email, webex meetings and culminating in a high level understanding of the problem to be solved.
BeginPossibly the most important phase of the project. There are a range of ways to approach this phase. You can provide us your set of requirements or we can consult with you to write the first draft. Either way, we will review, clarify and finalise our version of your requirements and present in a DSS requirements document. Once we have each reached a clear understanding we will both sign off on these as the definitive requirements and scope of the project.
ProgressThe size and complexity of the individual project will dictate what artefacts we create here. At a minimum we will take the finalised requirements and design a technical specification which represents each individual requirement and all associated features.
Once we have agreed that the design represents the requirements we believe a face to face workshop works well at this point. You can come to us in Brisbane, or we can visit your office and present the design, what it will do and what it won't do.
The last point is very important to ensure all stakeholders are aware of exactly what is and what is not being delivered.
This is an opportunity to reflect on the requirements and if required, go back and make adjustments. If required, we can go back a step and work through to design a second time.
Finally, we sign off the design enabling build to commence.
CementWe squirrel ourselves away at this point and do the techy stuff. Build the solution you have been looking for.
BuildWe can only do so much testing independently of your environment. Once we've done all we can we will install the product ideally to an integrated development or test environment on premise. If given access we can run further testing, or we can assist your test team validate the product.
This is the point where issues are most likely to be found, such as systems working in ways slightly differently than documented or expected. We are always happy to adjust our design and our solution at this point to work for you.
IntegrateOnce ready you can deploy the solution to your production environment. We will make ourselves available through the launch period and ensure the product works as expected, reliably. Again, if issues are found in production we will work with you through any teething issues. We're with you until the product is working dependably. This is part of our standard service.
